Restaurant Normandin Riviere-du-Loup

Wow! The servers at this bar strongly refrain from pronouncing the name of the bar... I wonder why?

The service was very slow. We waiting 20 minutes to place our order. The greeters were friendly but the wait staff seemed very involved with certain customers and ignored others.

We visited this location for a late dinner because we were super hungry and all restaurant were full on a Sunday night. The place is pretty it's either new or freshly renovated. The food we ate was better than the last time we visited an other restaurant of the same franchise. I've had a ribs pizza which was decent and my girlfriend had a zucchini salad which she enjoyed quite a bit. Kids are given vegetable when we arrive a nice gesture. Although the service was slow we consider visiting this location again.

We stopped for lunch and ate the Normandin for the first time. A friend of mine had recommended it. The waitress was very French but did her best and it was appreciated. She was very sweet and pleasant. We started with a fried parmesan appetizer that was delicious. I had the lasagna that was very good but I ordered it too big the small would have been plenty. My girlfriends salad was very good. Very nice spot and I recommend highly. Too bad there are none do your restaurants in New Brunswick.

Across the street from the hotel it was a good choice. Pretty standard fare I had chicken breast and fries. Service was excellent. My poor French was received by a waitress who seemed to want to try out her English. Prices were more than reasonable and portion size was more than adequate.
