Beer Shed - Riverview

Nestled along the Alafia River on the outskirts of Tampa, in Riverview, this restaurant can be a bit tricky to find if you're not from the area—definitely handy to have Google Maps. However, once you locate it, you can take a deep breath, unwind, and soak in the riverfront atmosphere. Accessible by both car and boat (if you know your way around), the place attracts a friendly crowd, mostly consisting of locals, and they’re my kind of people. Plus, there’s a food truck just 50 feet away offering a variety of tasty bar-style dishes.

We were expecting your average bar food, but we were wrong. It was really delicious! The burger was excellent, and the pulled pork tacos were HUGE!

The bartenders and patrons at the bar were quite good overall, with everyone enjoying themselves.

Kayla, the bartender, was one of the kindest and most attentive bartenders I’ve ever encountered. She truly went above and beyond with her customer service and warmth, which made my evening special. The drinks were affordable, and the service was truly outstanding! Just a heads up: this is a smoking bar, and I'm not a fan of such places, but I would definitely return for her exceptional service!
