This restaurant has recently entered a sushi bar with everything you can eat. I chose this option and went with the dinner menu although I was at noon. I did this to get access to her entire menu. I ordered some Nigiri and two reels. I ordered a role with spicy tuna to see how they deal with this offer. In my opinion, many sushi places add more warmth than necessary and it overwhelms the fish flavors. I notice that the heat in food is subjective. I felt the spice mirror was a bit high in the lovers. The rainbow roll was good, not shattered in eelsoße, but had it on the fish was still the highlight of the role. The nigiri was good, the ratio of fish to rice was good, especially for all you can eat. Many everything you can eat Sushi places give you a golf ball size piece of rice and a small piece of fish. Not here. The place was clean and the decor eclectic. Service was efficient and polite. I'd prefer hot tea, but they said they didn't. I don't know if they offer beer or wine
Food was pretty ok. We ordered Drunken Noodles and Basil Chicken. The Vegetable Fried Rice lacked flavor. The Thai Basil in Las Vegas tastes fresher.
This restaurant is very similar to Sushi Ya in Draper and Provo, with most of the menus being nearly identical. While Sushi Ya offers a slightly better overall experience with its more impressive rolls, a more beautiful setting, and more experienced staff, the prices are about the same. Ultimately, it comes down to the quality of the experience, and the buffet is the main draw here. The sushi itself is decent, but not outstanding. The rolls are fairly simple, and while they hold together well, the lunch price is around $16 for all-you-can-eat. So, the quality of the rolls feels comparable to those you might find for $3 or $4 elsewhere. You definitely get what you pay for.
On Tuesday at 6:00 PM, we had a quiet birthday dinner at this restaurant, and we were the only guests there upon our arrival. We really enjoyed the diverse selection of Asian cuisine on the menu, which included curry, noodles, rice, and many vegetarian options. We ordered two curry dishes along with a rice and noodle plate, and we also tried their spring rolls and edamame. I've lived around here for two years, and this was our first visit, and honestly, it was fantastic! The flavors of each dish were incredible. The service was great, and we felt safe in the restaurant as they adhered to COVID guidelines. It's worth noting that each dish we ordered was meant for 2-3 people, and our party of four had more than enough food with our appetizers and four main dishes. We had already eaten half of our meal before I remembered to take pictures because it was just that good!
