Smokey Canyon Bbq - Riverside

Went yesterday for dinner and was informed that the business had been sold and that the 16th. was their last day open. New owners will change the name and become a Texas style BBQ restaurant

I forgot to take a picture of my Brisket Sandwich Mac cheese. Too delicious. Meat was cooked well, Smokey, you can taste the rub. Mac cheese was flavorful tasty. Full meal was an expensive $21.34, but it's worth it. Also, they're short staffed, so hours may change.

Finally tried this place. My wife and I went here on our anniversary for lunch and I regret it unfortunately. We spend $75 for food that was not good. The service was good and their BBQ sauce was tasty but the food itself has no flavor and way very dry. I got the 3 meat plate with Ribs, Tri Tip and Chicken. The only meat that was good was the chicken. The Ribs were so dry they were barely edible. The mac n cheese has little to no flavor and the Tri Tip tasted like it was made a few days ago and microwaved. I really wanted to like this place but we we not be returning which is a bummer.

Food taste good but customer service deserve one start. The platter is for one person only. We had asked how big was the plate and the cashier say that the plate was for three people witch is not true.the platter is only for one person not to share.

I really wanted to like this place cause it's so close to my house but dang no such luck, I ordered the brisket sandwich and the meat had zero seasoning tasted like nothing and had a jelly consistency and way to much fat, the biscuit they give you was not good either, we also got a brisket plate with cheesy potatoes that also tasted like nothing and some Mac cheese which you guessed it was also no good. Unfortunately I won't be coming back
