Lolly's Hut - Riverhead

I love this place. It's as easy as it gets. Old school dinner. Old school. For me, perfect. Only cash! Small space but turns quickly, as the service is usually fast. Food is always hot and tasty. Great coffee too! My only complaint is that every time I try to drive, my vehicle somehow turns into the parking lot and 10 minutes later I enjoy a big breakfast!

Unbelievable! And wonderful in every respect – food, ambience (what a family owner would look like from the past), service and price! I really think the owners made a conscious choice to keep the prices very reasonable so that everyone enjoys and the cozy feeling of what was and still is at least in Lolly's hat. We are antique car people and what a jewel we found! We plan to become one of the regular guests and come next time in our 1937 La Salle seat convertible.

Lolly is the real deal. House style cooking served in a comfortable environment. The food is satisfying, tasty and not too expensive. Waitresses are very friendly, though busy. Nicole was very attentive. Will always return. If you are lucky, you can say hello to Lolly and experience their charm and humour.

No breakfast and lunch. They have the most fluffy pancakes, delicious eggs and hearty sausage. Get the number 3, it is very filling out and you want the plate clean. And all this and a cup of coffee for under $10! Sit on the counter so you can ogle the meals of other people to give you a better idea of what you are trying to eat next time. The service was fast and the cook sported a Coast Guard shirt so you know that their attention to detail is on point! Go Coast Guard!!! Very recommended, but it is also very busy, so plan to wait a few minutes as it is a small place.

Amazing price and fantastic taste! The pancakes were a bit burnt but most of their food was delicious. Highly recommend this local place!!
