Pizza Oven - Riverdale

This has always been my favorite pizza on Earth, and the subs are the bomb too.There was a mini-chain of this restaurant in my home Richmond VA in the 60's and 70's. I worked in one as a kid. Some friends and I would make a 100+ miles-each-way road trip to this one in later years because we craved them so much. It was well worth it. Those thin-crust, rectangular large plain cheese pizzas are just the best I have ever had.

I had a great experience at this restaurant with delicious food and beautiful decor. Although I was disappointed that they didn't have the aubergine parmesan, the pizza I tried was excellent. The wait was a bit longer than expected, but the onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. They also have special offers at certain times. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

This restaurant is like a trip back in time. When I was young, the best pizza came from the pizza oven. As I grew up, got married, and moved into my own place, I found the delicious pizza from the local pizza oven nearby. Now, all those pizza ovens have disappeared, but there is one that still remains. It is just as wonderful and timeless as I remember.

This restaurant is a hidden gem with an old-school charm, featuring baseball caps hanging from the ceiling, political posters on the walls, and arcade games. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Stay safe out there!

Pizza Oven is exceptional. This place has been in business in this location since 1957 and when you walk in the store you will see it is true. Amazing pizza, awesome service!
