Jamrock Jerk Center Sport - Riverdale

I absolutely love this place! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The dark meat and their jerk sauce keep me coming back time after time. I can’t forget to mention their amazing gravy options. I really enjoy adding their curry chicken gravy to my cabbage and mac and cheese! The staff are friendly and make me feel valued whenever I visit this wonderful restaurant.

The restaurant is consistently clean, and I usually visit for lunch during the week. The food is delicious, especially the curry chicken, jerk chicken, and rice! However, the cabbage is a bit overcooked and the portion size is quite small, even on the large plate. Unfortunately, the customer service is lacking and needs improvement. I would have given a 4-star rating, but the issues with service and portion sizes definitely need to be addressed. Thank you for your services.

The jerk chicken is fantastic, featuring a great BBQ flavor without being overly spicy. The sauce that accompanies it adds a nice touch with just a hint of spice. The coco bread tastes like a large regular roll. There’s a generous portion of rice, but I found the beef patty to be hard and flat, and I really didn’t like the mushy filling inside. The rice wasn’t as good as I expected, especially since it’s served as a main side with most dishes; once the meat was gone, I didn’t even want the rice anymore. Unfortunately, the plantains were inedible, as they were burnt to a pitch-black color—how could anyone serve that? It’s hard to believe they didn’t notice the charred plantain on the plate. On a positive note, the cabbage was perfect.

Hate delivering from here. Customer service is horrible. Every time I come to pick up an order they over look me. Like today, three people including me walked in, all pickups they completely looked over me until I spoke up. Then tried to argue with me.Only way I get my delivery orders in a timely manner is if a male is making them. I would never spend my money here.

One of the better jerk spots in the city. There's some bad jerk spots that I can get one or two stars. But I give this one 4 stars. I'm from Chicago so, I'm a harsh critic when it comes to jerk restaurant. But it's one of the better ones out here. Thejerk chicken with curry sauce is very good.
