Cheseze's Pizza - RISING SUN

I love this charming pizza restaurant in the small town. They serve quick and delicious lunches with an oven right at the table. The owner is very friendly, personally taking orders and chatting with the regulars. The food is excellent, my favorite being the calzone.

I have eaten here for years, either by delivery or pick up or in the restaurant. I have tried many items on the menu and never been disappointed. The salads are fantastic, basically build it yourself, pizza's are the best with lots of ingredients, hoagies are great. On occasion they offer soups which are homemade and super. The breadsticks are great ! This is small town, home town, while you're waiting for your order the friendly people of Rising Sun dining in or picking up theirs make friendly conversation and make you feel at home.

First, reservations are not required. This is a humble family-run pizza place with really excellent pizza. The blows are not your usual blows that they get from a bag; everything is freshly cut daily and the taste reflects that! They have handcuffed crust, the pizza sauce is very fresh and brownish. I kept for lunch hoping to get only one piece of pizza, but they had only full pizza, but their personal 8-inch pizza was under $7 and contain as many toppings as I wanted. I loaded mine and it was perfectly cooked and served already cut and served quickly. They use the old ovens that produce the best pizzas. Very recommended!

We were delighted that we decided to stop for lunch at this restaurant! The pizza was fantastic and reminded me of my childhood on the east coast. The owner was extremely friendly and provided excellent service. The drive from Louisville, Kentucky was definitely worth it.

This cozy restaurant offers great service and delicious pizza. It has a charming small-town feel and cozy atmosphere. Everything we tried here was excellent, and even the children enjoyed it. The decor may not be fancy, but it's not a requirement for a great dining experience.
