Stucki Cabin - Ririe

I don't know where to begin. This is a family run ranch. The family works together, and they are all wonderful people. They were so helpful with everything from reserving and checking in to what we could do while we were there. The whole family is personable and interesting, and we learned a lot about the area from them. They let our son help them with the cattle vaccinations. The trail ride was awesome. I am going to review the ride under activities, but I highly recommend the hour and a half ride, if you stay. The GPS may send you to the neighbor's, so make sure the sign at the end of the driveway is right before heading up because the driveways are long. The rooms were clean, and the family was respectful of social distancing. Even though the family showed an interest in us, they never got into our space. Our cabin had 2 bedrooms and a bath. There is WiFi but no TV. There is a kitchen building with breakfast foods and facilities to cook a meal or grill. You clean up after yourself in the kitchen, and it was very clean and well organized. There are comfortable seating areas outside to just relax. The only problem with this place is that I didn't want to leave. I put the picture of the pond on my phone and it actually gave me a lump in my throat because I wanted to stay there. I've been in many countries and states, but this is in my top 5 ever.

I made the excellent decision to book a trail ride at Granite Creek as part of our travels through the US this month. It was a lovely trip out through beautiful pastures and some wooded areas with views to die for especially on the way back. My horse (Pocket) was a delight, so well behaved and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and fun and easy to communicate with leading up to my booking sadly I can't remeber the name of the girl who took us out but she was great. It was good value for money too!

Belatedly writing a review and this is just for the horseback riding (we did not stay there). My then 4 year old did a pony ride (really a mini trail ride with someone walking with her) last year (late Aug 2021) and it was great. She loved it and got to direct the horse herself and feed horses afterwards. It was a perfect stop as we drove back to SLC from Jackson WY. Beautiful spot, friendly owner. Thank you!

Took my wife and daughter for the horseback riding. The property is beautiful! Family owned business and everyone, including the patriarch Mother is so friendly and kind. The horseback riding was great. The young man that let the ride was so polite and attentive. We did not know about the cabins, if we had, we would have stayed. I hope people find this great place to get away for a while.
