I've come across her multiple times during my weekly visits and she always has a smile on her face and is so helpful. This last visit, I'm sure she could tell I was flustered as I just couldn't find what I was looking for, so after circling the store she approached me and asked if she could help me find something. I jumped on that offer. She was able to immediately point me in the right direction. Maddyn is a huge asset to Savemart and I'm grateful for her willingness to help me and others. Keep up the awesome work!
This place is getting worse. Might as well call it Ripon Wal Mart. They need to add self check out to this store ASAP!! You have to bag your own groceries any way while four employees chat it up out in front of the check stands.
This place consistently has a 10-20 minute wait at the cash register. Additionally, the selection of items is always inconsistent. I'm also wondering what happened to the dairy-free section; I often have to go to Modesto or Manteca for many basic products. Looks like I should start making more frequent trips to Safeway.
I bought groceries yesterday, August 18th, with the intention of enjoying a picnic snack with my husband today. Unfortunately, we discovered that the grapes were moldy, and one of the meat items was rancid, discolored, and smelled bad. This is the fourth time I've encountered issues with food from this store. I plan to contact the Health Department about this matter. I've purchased meat that was discolored, and the $5 meat they offer shouldn’t even be sold in the first place. I’ve also bought potatoes that were moldy and rotten, as well as lobster that turned dark when it thawed, which ruined my Christmas dinner. This place really needs a health inspection. Additionally, their pastries tasted stale and spoiled. It’s unacceptable for stores to sell moldy and rotten food!
As I get older, I try to take care of myself, but I found it challenging to load my water bottles when Zoey came over while sweeping to offer her assistance. She helped me load my cart, ensured that the confused cashier didn't overcharge me, and even helped me unload all my water and groceries. I wish the store had more staff; these young workers put in so much effort. Zoey was incredibly helpful, and I truly appreciated her assistance. I give 5 stars for Zoey and 1 star for the store.
