Pizza Caffe - Rio Maior

We found this place on our way to north. We are surprised with the prices and the food. Pizzas were delicious. I ordered steak and it was very tasty. We are surprised with negative opinions.

After one hour... Even if it's a quality meal... Ain't worth the waiting... Looks like external orders have higher priority...

We arrived before the kitchen opened (7pm and so had a beer and then ordered before opening. We sat down at the table a bit before 7pm and were instantly brought a few snacks (garlic bread and tostas with a really nice tuna pate . There was only one other table seated at this stage. At 7:30 the waitress came over and told us that we could not get our entree, because they had too many other orders (what the?? . Lots of take away business, which apparently was taking priority so many people came to pick up pizzas while we waited. Finally at 8pm we got our food. The pizza was not very good the pastry was soft and bland and although there was plenty of topping, it was pretty tasteless. Would have loved to have a dessert and coffee, but were weren't prepared to take the risk of waiting another hour. I feel sorry for the single waitress, because she seemed busy and you can't serve something which is not ready.
