Stopped there at lunchtime due to the rain. Very good food with a small menu
Probably the best “Stjerneskud” (Open fish sandwich) we will have this week, fish was fresh, well cooked (pan fried and not from the well) Very effective and clean, you have to order and pay at the counter, drinks and food comes quick. Not the cheapest place in town, but you get what you pay for.... The order procedure could be annoying, but we left with a good feeling after a good lunch with a great view that call for 5 stars
We went to this cafe following a suggestion from a local. Our friends were a few minutes ahead of us so they ordered, all was okay. We walked in, couldn’t get the time of day from this blonde hair woman with an ugly attitude. Perhaps she was busy, or didn’t see us... impossible. This establishment is quite small and she made eye contact with us. Still, no attention whatsoever. My husband went up to get menus. After 10+ minutes he went back up to place our order. She said “kitchen closed”. “Kitchen closes at half past”. The clock had barely hit the half past mark. If we would have been at least greeted, maybe even informed about their hours the whole situation would have been different. Instead, this nasty woman was too put out. Countries outside of the USA do not regularly tip servers. It’s obvious these servers do as little as possible. They really do not care.
My first impression on entering the restaurant was a lack of any welcome, after standing there for several minutes we asked the barman for a table to be told, find one yourself and here take the menu with you. Restaurant a Little cramped but decent decor, I ordered a burger and my partner ordered a Club sandwich. My burger was not the biggest for the Price and had lots of unwanted sweet tomatoes on it, it was tasty though at 130 Danish Kroner it cost an extra 50 for fries which is not the norm. Club sandwich served as an open sandwich with dark bread which was delicous. In all decent place, menu too small and prices a bit high.
