Rindge Pizza Haven

Rindge truly is the middle of nowhere. So when the power is out and there 's no where else to go, I 've had a pizza or a grinder a time or 50 at this place. Years ago when the owners lived over the restaurant and cared a bit about quality, the grinders were sometimes okay. Dave used to drive down to Massachusetts and pick up grinder rolls every week, and they were above par. But for the last 15 years or so, this Pizzeria has sucked. In general, Greek pizza is a greasy, poorly seasoned, sorry substitute for pizza, but Rindge Pizza Haven doesn 't even reach up and hit that poor standard anymore. And the grinder rolls are the worst I 've ever had. The restaurant 's motto is Pizza with Attitude. It 's barely Pizza, and the only think with attitude is the surly staff. It 's the only game in town unless you count the KFC/Taco Bell/Food-Poisoning-To-Go franchise, because Pizza Haven 's owners have done a great job of keeping anything resembling competition out of town. Heaven help you if you eat here. I marked that they are good for breakfast because that 's the meal when they are CLOSED. (Your mileage may vary, service and smile not included.
