When I inquired if the eggplant was made with egg, she admitted that it was. It seems they hadn't considered that before. I don't think they will change it, so if you're vegan, I recommend requesting eggplant cooked in olive oil instead. Despite this misstep, the pizza itself was pretty good.
I tried Linda's Vegan pizza which was topped with tomato sauce, fried eggplant, spinach, broccoli, and mushrooms. It was delicious!
The food at this restaurant was amazing. When we received the bill, we were pleasantly surprised by how reasonable it was. However, what truly stood out during our visit was the exceptional service we received. Despite showing up with a party of 12 on a busy Saturday night without a reservation, the host and staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. They even moved us to a more comfortable table in the middle of our meal. Their kindness and attentiveness won us over. I highly recommend making a reservation, but I can confidently say that everything from the antipasto to the pizza to the pasta to the desserts was delicious. Overall, it is a great place with wonderful people.
I frequently dine at Mangia Mi and I consistently enjoy top-notch food and service. Last night, I took my family, most of whom were first-time visitors, and we ordered shrimp scampi, chicken Marsala, and braciole. Every dish was superb, bursting with flavors and freshness. The kitchen staff was outstanding, and Roxanna provided excellent service. Thank you!
Chef Rebecca serves incredible food at this restaurant, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff - especially Scott! It's a unique blend of Boston and Rincón flavors that all foodies and locals should try at least once, or even once a week! Rebecca and Kara have created a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere with a sophisticated menu. As a Sicilian who knows authentic Italian food, I highly recommend this spot.
