Double Coffee - Riga Latvija

I love this coffee breakfast shop. It has a unique and distinct atmosphere. It is located right beside Riga central train station, so there are always lots of people going somewhere, while you can sit, pause, and enjoy great coffee. Service is good. Personnel is very friendly, and they speak many languages. The omelet I had was super delicious. It was very fluffy with a proper amount of spices. Great job!!!

Very nice place for a meal while waiting for the train. The staff are friendly and service is great. The breakfast I had was well prepared and quite tasty. They have wifi, which is nice for those not on the unlimited plans. Definitely will be back!!

Worst experience in my entire life. Me and my friend went to this restaurant and ordered our usual: teriyaki chicken, our favorite dish there. Everything seemed normal except for the part that the waiter wasn't really welcoming and seemed kind of rude. We brushed it off, not a big deal, we came here for the great food after all. I got served teriyaki chicken the usual way, it was fresh and tasty while my friend got an extremely dry chicken, the rice tasted weird, and on top of that they served it on another plate. (all restaurants that serve this dish serve it on the same plate My friend was very nice about it and didn't want to throw away chef's work so they ate it still. We also got served drinks, I got a perfectly normal drink while my friend got a drink with some goo(? in the bottom of the drink, it tasted horrible. After finishing the food I noticed that my friend started looking and acting weird. They got extremely sleepy and they immediately rushed me to leave ASAP because they wanted to vomit and we had to find the closest toilet we could. It's been couple days already, they're feeling worse by each day. It is food poisoning. And this restaurant is to blame. (We didn't eat ANYTHING before going to the restaurant btw Do not recommend for people that want a normal experience in the restaurant. If they don't like you, you might get hospitalized. Also adding a small note. My friend and I were extremely nice to everyone in the restaurant, we weren't screaming or causing any problems, just as I said just came here for the food.

Very tasty burgers, but didn't get any beer, though it was on the menu both bottled and draft. 1 point taken down for that. But giving one point back for tasty gin&tonic!

Nice place, comfortable seats, a lot of choices from different meals and drinks. 2 stars are for 40 minute ! wait for the food the café was not crowded, only 4 other people ordered meal . The waffles didn’t taste freshly, it looked like from frozen pre-prepared meal, so the 40 minute wait for it was not worth it. Also, when you are having meal at a train station café, with almost an hour before your train’s departure, you don’t expect to having to eat your meal in less than 5 minutes and barely catching the train. The waiter was really nice, but it didn’t make up for the stressful experience.
