Golden Coffee /firefood.me - Riga

A nice cafe to sit in the sun and people watch. Ordered fish and chips. Sadly fish was crumbed and not battered which was a let down. The chips were delicious triple fried? The beer was refreshing local brew. Service was very good!

Nice small cozy Restaurant in Riga. The food is good but the Service is average. One shouöd check their bill before paying since they put the tip extra and don't inform the customer. I think tipping depends on the service and should be free willing, not forced.

The first red flag of this place was a waiter inviting everyone to come in, as it does not typically happens in restaurants. Still, we decided to try the food, as we were really hungry at that point of our trip. We asked about the prices and we were told it is from 5 to 12 euros. When we were seated and checked the menu, the prices were higher, for example a pork roast with mushrooms was around 14 euros, fried chicken 22 euros. We waited for food around 20 30 minutes. Pork roast was totally not worth the price, as it was small and really dry. After that our waiter just forgot about us, we waited for the receipt for 30 minutes and he did not bring it. I asked him personally again, as he did not come to our table at all, even when there were not much clients (you can see it in picture). Will not come here again and would not recommend.

I was for a weekend getaway in Riga so we wanted to enjoy the city and the Latvian experience as much as possible. This restaurant was definitely a good choice during our quick visit. The service is very friendly and Sanita, our waitress, was super friendly and welcoming. After ordering the entrances, they really hot the post with their suggestions for the main dishes. This restaurant is a great place to visit the beautiful Riga!

You can see why there are always people here. The atmosphere is ace, a really funky place with TVs and music on the right band. Service is dedicated and fantastic, you can say that they all enjoy working here. The two people who served us were particularly good. Food came out and was tasty, the money with a Cared For look to it. Once again we were checked to see if it was good and whether we were well looked after. Many places can learn from this kind of commitment. Eating we had the English breakfast and the potato pancakes something or other. Both as before we come beautiful in taste with fresh salad. Coffee was hot and well made again with good commitment. I'm back.
