The wine didn't impress me, and unfortunately, I found the wine throughout the region to be underwhelming. On our first visit, the restaurant was closed. There was only one server, which made the service quite slow. It’s definitely better to sit indoors for a more attentive experience. However, the highlight of our visit was the incredible view, which truly stood out.

We experienced extremely poor service during our visit. We waited two and a half hours for our food and had to get our own wine tasting refills because the overwhelmed waitress couldn't manage on her own. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, with only three other groups present. I wish the waitress had informed us that the service would be slow or made an effort to check on us, as we had other wineries we wanted to visit and couldn't make it to them on time. The service at Swartland Winery and Kloovenburg Estate was excellent, and we plan to return to those places, but we will not be coming back to Meerhof Wines. We are very disappointed.
