Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

This was the first time I visited a cracker barrel store and my first impression was that it was overwhelmingly full of things, but when entering the dining area I felt and smelled delicious relaxation. My wife and I traveled to this place at a brunch date and I was thrilled to have a great service accompanied by good food and an amazing environment with interesting decor. I feel a real need to visit again.

I know there's a lack of work, but it's not an excuse for a meal to get out 20 minutes after the other three. When my food came to the table, everyone else was done. I had cookies and eggs. The simplest order in the universe. When the food came, I didn't even want to eat because everyone was ready to go. Countless empty tables, but wait 30 minutes. That's because of the lack of work, but damn not an apology for the service I've just experienced firsthand. Server was nice, but unfortunately he doesn't fill a stomach. Left hungry, never go back.

You can't go wrong with Cracker Barrel. I love the gift shop. If there is a waiting time, it usually goes quite fast and surfing in the shop or rocking on the veranda seems to sweeten time. Sweet tea, cookies, chicken dumping...what more could a country girl ask for...oh a decadent coca Cola Fudge cake. Yes, it will.

I was so excited to go because it was Sunday and I could get the Sunday Pot roast. We typically order from here on a Friday when we decide to have it. The pot roast was delicious and I got a crushed sweet potato that was all right. It was hard to get through all Marshmallow. My sister had the Bratbeef and we also had the Hasch-Braun-Casserole-Tarts. The food was good. What was not good was the service of our waitress. She never said anything when she took our order and asked if we wanted to refill. She stopped by a point to say something, but never. She left the check without saying anything or asking if we wanted boxes. She literally dropped it on the table when she passed. I waited for a box for 15 minutes because she never came by. I could finally stop her after she had plagued with one of her other tables and when I asked for a box, she made it as if it were a mysterious thing I wanted. At this point my sister had already paid, went to the bathroom and came back. To finish everything when she took our drinks orders, I asked about the Huckleberry tea. She said they were out. Okay, not biggie. Except when she slept with her other table, she was a pretty girl in the world. I honestly believe our lack of service was because I and my sister are younger and they thought we wouldn't type. Jokes on them because I used to be a waitress and now they are very good (based on performance), because I know what they are going through.

I enjoy the food here (The fried chicken is delish. . I like the lunch and dinner food better. I was here recently. A young lady made a mistake with my order. They took care of it. She was apologetic and wanted to make things right. I sincerely appreciate her caring. Another staff member was helpful as well. Great customer service can go a long way. That's what will bring me back!
