This has happened all 3 times I have gone. This is solely the reason I will not return and can not recommend the place.
Lots of pool tables with different sizes. Juke box music plays through ceiling speakers near tables and was too loud for my taste. They do have a really nice foosball table, but it’s $1.25 per game of 9 balls.
PSA Diamond Billiards Bar and Grill Diamond Billiards Bar Grill Some context here... I 've been visiting Diamond for a couple decades. It 's been a welcoming place where I was able to bring friends, family, and meet people around the communityAs many of you know.. I 've joined into APA Rochester league and have nothing but high regards to the coordinators and community that has been built across Rochester and Western New York.I have played APA league at Diamond Billiards since joining the league. Thursday nights the p paymenconcept is that you pay 'table time ' to Diamond, to play on their league reserved tables, and you pay weekly dues into APA.Last night Sarah and myself were humiliated by Diamond ownership in a manner that can 't go unspoken. This post is public. Will go into as many business reviews as possible. And will be taken down if an apology and explanation is received.Last night I had a bye and my team was not playing. Sarah and I purchased time for a reserved pool table. We also purchased food and beverage. During that time I asked for a league mate to shoot a game with me on the table I had reserved. That mate and I played the game.During that game I overheard my name from the other side of the venue but did not take mind of it. Sarah returned advising that ownership was vocally frustrated that mate played on the table we reserved without paying for the table time, on that table.I shrugged it offNot long after I overheard the owner and bartender conversing one table away from us. I stared down the owner, listening to their conversation, and the owner stared at me having the conversation. This conversation involved swearing and obvious frustration of the situation. Since the owner did not have the manner to talk to me about this 1:1, without swearing, without humiliation, we immediately packed our things and returned the pool balls to their storage location. When storing the pool balls we had general conversation with the bar tender about the situation. The owner then came to the bar stating the bartender is not the owner, I am, if you want to talk to the owner then talk to me insert explicit words into his statement. We attempted to have a reasonable conversation with the owner and were met with him walking off, to play the game he was in the middle of, and swearing at us and agreeing that we should give our money to another billiards hall.Sarah and I were humiliated by the loud tone, swearing, and inability for ownership to have a conversation to their routine patrons. I will be forced to go back to Diamond. Only because of the APA league and community. While at Diamond they will not be receiving money from me for their extra services.I have had conversation with my team captain and the APA coordinators to petition for corrective actions.
Prices were cheap to play welcomes all skill levels tons of open tables for a Saturday night I didn't get a chance to try the food. Would recommend.
We always have fun here. Good bar food drinks and music
