Sombra Mexican Kitchen - Ridgeland

A great place to grab Mexican food, and we loved their chips and salsa!

We had a party of 12; when I went to the front to request a table, the host was very rude with me. She had a bad attitude and when I said thank you, she completely ignored me. After we sat down, it took a minute for the waitress to come over. When she did, she was nice, but we weren't ready to order. It took her a loooong time to come back, and after we ordered, she never came back to check on us. They included gratuity, so her tip was over $50, but her service level was not adequate for that amount of tip. It was NOT a great experience. But the brisket tacos were amazing. The refried beans were terrible. The chips and salsa were good, however.

Music is a little loud, but the food and staff are great. Love that the are able to accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions.

Service is great, and food always comes out quickly. Nothing on the food menu has blown me away so far, but the margaritas are great!
