Not bad at all! I enjoyed the chicken taco salad, and it was really tasty. The guacamole was fresh and delightful! The restaurant is small, but the bar area feels spacious. I can definitely see myself returning here many more times! Last night, I came back and tried the fish tacos. Now I'm back again tonight... for the fish tacos and guacamole! This is my third visit, and I'm still loving the same dish. It's absolutely delicious!

I absolutely love their barbacoa—everything they make with it is fantastic! The homemade salsa is exceptional; I find myself wanting to put it on everything. Both the green salsa and the tamarind mild salsa are incredibly flavorful. I also tried their super spicy salsa, which was a bit too intense for me, though the taste was wonderful. Another favorite of mine is their deep-fried empanadas, and I’m usually not a fan of fried food... but trust me, they are incredible! The crispy, lightly fried dough paired with the gooey, melted cheese makes every bite a delight. I do wish they had seafood ceviche and shrimp cocktail, but the service is always top-notch, and the owners are very friendly.

Give it a try! I've found a new favorite place to satisfy all my cravings for Mexican food! The dishes are amazing, the service is warm and welcoming, and they really don’t skimp on quality ingredients.

Ordered the sampler platter times 3! Hands down the best mexikali food in Jackson! These tacos are insane!
