The Osage At The Top Of The Rock

We spent Mother’s Day at Osage and it was disappointing. Especially for the RIDICULOUS price we paid. They no longer give you a certificate to reimburse the $10 parking. The staff was unfriendly. Our server didn’t clear our plates so we had a lot stacked up. She did not check on water levels so my son ran dry. Now on to the food review: Nothing in the salad area tasted good. The peel and eat shrimp were flavorless and there was no cocktail sauce. The salmon had no flavor. The chicken piccata tasted NASTY. My husband only had fat in his slice of prime rib. The good stuff: seafood pasta was amazing. The crab claws were amazing. The dessert table was a winner. We will probably never go back. I very thing was overpriced and nothing was stellar enough to justify the cost.

Excellent food, service and views! Well worth the money you pay for this experience. Portions way too big so plan on sharing (for instance, 10-ounce filets). The beet salad was soooo good but would have filled me for the whole meal if I hadn’t shared. Even after sharing, we brought enough home for another full meal. The Native American decor was gorgeous, especially all the statues. Even the bar had 3-D art. I think most people missed much of the art because they were enjoying the food so much and each other’s company (background music rather than anything that interrupted). We knew we wanted one special meal this week — and this was it!

Views and atmosphere were fantastic. Food was just okay. You could tell they were short staffed during the lunch crowd. Two people at our table waited over an hour for the pork chop breakfast. Eggs came out wrong after that. I had the bacon cheeseburger which was good. Manager came and comped the pork chop plates which was the right thing to do and much appreciated. I guess in general we expected better. I understand miscommunication happens but there was a lot of things that didn't go well on the service side.

We had a wonderful experience. we have booked a week in advance for the 20 o'clock time. our waiter encouraged us to watch the sunset ceremony that was great. that is out of sight. just beautiful. the food was excellent!

Every year, we eagerly anticipate a delightful dinner at Osage restaurant. And we are never let down! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is lovely, and the bagpipe music is heartwarming. Thank you, Osage, for yet another unforgettable dining experience!
