Nacho's Tacos - Richton Park

The steak in the tacos was extremely crunchy—not in a good way. It tasted like it had dried out and was burnt, as if it had just been left sitting on the grill for too long. I feel like I wasted $8, and now I can’t get a refund. If they weren't willing to make it properly, they should have just said so.

I had initially given them a 1-star rating on October 25 because I came in and ordered three steak tacos with cheese, sour cream, and hot sauce for takeout. I managed to contact them regarding the issue, and they resolved it. The next day, I returned since I was at work, and they recognized me and knew exactly what I was referring to. Overall, the food is excellent. Just a heads up: they rarely answer the phone, so keep that in mind, everyone.

There was a point of time when I used to consistently go here with no problems but today I went here and brought a friend with me. He ordered 6 tacos and I ordered 11, he opened his at the restaurant and started eating while I was waiting on my order and his looked perfectly fine. I got home to discover since I ordered a big order they decided to give me very thin tacos with barely anything on it slopped together, they basically just looked like closed shells with nothing in them. I called the restaurant to see if they were willing to replace the thin tacos and they told me the manager claimed that’s how they are supposed to make them now due to an “increase on prices on meats” not knowing that I’ve seen my friends order of 6 that looked like normal sized tacos and they insisted that there was nothing that they could do about it. They have a very cheap and petty business model so be careful shopping with them! I normally don’t write reviews but this was a red flag for me and I would like to warn as many people as possible

I loved the food especially the nachos with meat and big taco. You can't find too many local restaurants like this one. They put the right amount of meat on the tacos and nachos so if you're looking for a good spot for tacos, this is the spot!!!! I know I'll be a repeat customer. Support your local businesses everyone!!!!
