The menu had a good variety of options and we each had two courses. I chose the chicken with Wensleydale cheese, while my husband opted for the beef and ale pie, both of which we enjoyed. The highlight for me was the cheese board with homemade crackers, allowing us to sample different cheeses. The staff were helpful and accommodating. We had to sit inside due to the warm weather, as only the cafe was permitted to use the outdoor tables. This affected my rating of the restaurant.
The restaurant offers ample parking space and a gift shop selling a variety of souvenirs related to the creamery, sheep, and the characters Wallace and Gromit. The chiller room features a wide selection of cheeses for purchase, and there is a pleasant café where Covid rules are followed.
