Ashmore on Bridge Street - Richmond

First we installed the benches on the terrace facing the sea, where we enjoy a glass of champagne After this little appetizer, we joined our table.

My Australian friend loves to eat at this restaurant, so we tried. The food is yummy and the price is reasonable. There are some nice paintings selling there which are drawn by kids with special needs.

My friends and I meet regularly at Ashmores for lunch. The food is excellent, with a good selection, including dishes which cater for the vegetarians in our group. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is welcoming and the restaurant is warm on a cold winters day. Staff have always been pleasant and attentive. Would thoroughly recommend for a light lunch or just a coffee break.

A lovely place to enjoy a morning coffee and tea accompanied by scones with mulberry jam and cream. Spot on.Service was friendly and efficient. We are lucky to live in Hobart and Richmond is just a short drive away so we will be making a return visit.

I had a smoked ham hock and tomato soup with basil and Trish had the lemon cake and cream Both were excellent and was worth the wait
