I had only a terrible experience in our local jamies trattoria in richmond. our daughter chose her birthday dinner. it started great, but waited for our second course, my sonny burger, where sitting on the pass until I went and complained. the mini-burgers looked like a meatball that was cut half in a bungalow, sometimes the size with half a pot yogurt on the lower bungalow. my year-old son started crying when he was at his delicious dinner (not his fault and then my daughter started crying because he was and it was her birthday! the chef came by and said I'm sorry he shouldn't leave a new chef who makes our dinner. the managerin came over minutes later and...read more

Beautiful place, good location and a large selection of food and drinks. they love the video on this site, especially if they are with some friends after work!

So I was very excited to go to one of the jamie’s restaurants for the first time, and what had happened was I didn’t decide what to eat so I tried a lot of things! one is sure! it was amazing! absolutely beloved!

Since I had not returned long from my first visit to italia – and it was already missing – I hoped for an authentic Italian fix when I found jamies Italian trattoria.

I got home and emailed my Italian friend A, saying ‘it was terrible’. He’s said to me that when he’s in UK a lot he gets used to our ‘Italian’ food and can start to think some of it’s good … until he goes home to Italy! Well, I need to take him to some of the really good Italian restaurants I know because there is some great Italian cooking in London, but meanwhile, the meal I had last night wouldn’t have impressed any Italian.
