Richmond Grill - Richmond Hill

I heard good things about the resto, but when we came , the place was empty, we've learned that there is a new management and they are trying to make it work. the food was average, Lamb and risotto overcooked, cocktail was good. They need to put in more effort to get the place going.

Had dinner with a friend at the Richmond Grill last Friday night. Food was spectacular. I would recommend to everyone.

It has been over a year since we have eaten here, though Richmond Grill used to be one of our favourite places to go for a guaranteed great meal. We went last night and were disappointed that the place is under new management. The chef is still the same but the atmosphere is not. Firstly, we entered at 7pm and we were the only ones there. The lights were bright, and there was a distinct smell of stale cleaning, not of cooking. The service was poor:One scatterbrained waitress for the whole place. There was a maximum of 7 tables full at any one time. The meal , when it finally arrived at 8:45 , was variable. The seabass was excellent.The French onion soup was unavailable, then available, then onion broth, then returned. The rest of the meals were subpar. Not going back. Sad to see that this icon is no longer what it once was.

Was here for dinner. Our group of eight were the only people at the Resturant on a Sunday night at 7:30 pm. We were amazed and was ready to leave thinking something was wrong. Service was good, food was moderately OK. My seafood pasta was nothing special. I would not order it again. The veal chops were OK but not worth the $35.00

This restaurant doesn't look great from the outside but the food is delicious. I have been here many times and joyed the steak, chicken and many other dishes. The menu is nice and the food is great. You will not be disappointed.
