Marlowe Restaurant & Wine Bar

My wife hosted a bday party here and had fun but the dancefloor emptied before 1am. Dj played nice tunes but not really dancing tunes and kinda didn't feel the crowd. Awesome food and pretty good priced pitchers. Overall a nice hangout if u wanna dance for only a couple of hours.

11 of us went there last night for a girls night out! We were seated around 9:20PM and no one bothered to come check on us and take our orders until 10PM. One of my friends was extremely thristy and asked for a glass of water, we waited 30 minutes and still saw no sign of water anywhere. We asked again for the water the waitress then told us that they didn't have glasses at the moment and that we had to wait. We literally waited 45 minutes to get a glass of water, our food came out before the water did. One of the girls is vegetarian and ordered a veggie pasta. They brought her pasta with extra bacon she had to return the food 3 times and all three times there was meat on the pasta. We felt sorry for the waitress, she looked really overwhelmed as she was new and took on a group of 11 on her own. Which is such big mistake, there should of been some helping her out!! The whole vibe of marlowes was overall such a big disappointment.

The only reason I gave Marlowes 3 stars and not 5 on a Saturday night is bc the dj has played the same songs over and over. My hubby and I don’t understand how he doesn’t know other songs.We came back on a Saturday night bc of the great time we had months ago. Tonight we have heard Suavemente 2 times, Pepas 3 times, Lets get loud by JLo 2 times, Daddy yankee 2 times (same song) Shaun Paul 6 times and 2 R B songs only. We hope the dj from the first time we were here is still with Marlowes. We were here September 30th.

I’m sorry to say the service and food don’t live up to the prices they charge. Dirty plates on the table all night long, servers can’t handle the sections. 30+ guest for one server at the same time. Slow service leads to lower sales. As from the last review the DJ was terrible. Pretty sure it’s not protocol to be drunk and then ask for a shot to play a song. Even after we bought him 2. The place is going downhill in a hurry. The new owners are lost. This used to be a great spot.
