Whisk Bakery - Richmond

The staff at this restaurant is exceptional - they are friendly and helpful when it comes to ordering and even offer local advice. There are plenty of treats to choose from, as well as a variety of sandwiches. The pastries are flaky and tempting, with oversized macaroons and delicious baguettes. The "Partisan" baguette sandwich is particularly satisfying, with savory ham, fresh ingredients, and surprisingly perfect mustard butter. Even if you're not a fan of mustard, the balance of flavors allows you to enjoy the entire sandwich. Additionally, the espresso is excellent.

We recently returned to this restaurant after being away from Richmond for 5 years. I was pleased to see that the quality of their pastries has remained excellent. Our favorite, the coffee cake muffin, was perfect as always!

This is a charming little café with limited seating. It was my first time visiting and I really enjoyed the Almond Chocolate Croissant. I believe it has a creamy almond filling in the center.

Food: very good, an option to warm up would be nice. Coffee: standard fare, we didn't try any special flavors... we like our coffee how your mom likes REDACTED...black. Price: for 2 muffins, 1 pastry and two small coffees, the price with tip and taxes was about $22. Overall: recommend as a once in a while treat!

Our first visit to Whisk was delightful. The turkey pesto crescent was so good we had to go back to order a second. The chocolate almond crescent was perfectly balanced and just sweet enough. Friendly staff and clean environment to enjoy our pastries.
