Shyndigz - Richmond

Shyndigz to-go bakery is unique and fabulous. Although the restaurant itself is not open today, they have a delightful outdoor haven where you may enjoy your to-go treats! I highly recommend the Seasonal Pumpkin Cake. My husband enjoyed the Lemon Bar as well as the Smore Brownie.

I don't particularly eat dessert, so when I walked into Shyndigz 2go Market and got the confetti cake, I thought this would be just a regular store bought tasting cake, but as you can see by that rating, I was wrong. When I put the fork topped with a small taste of cake in my mouth it was like my taste buds were having a party . There is literally no other way to explain it. The Market was pretty crowded as the building isn't very big, but don't expect to be waiting very long. The service is great and fast. Not only are there many different types of desserts, there are also anitques within the Market. Long story short... COME HERE!

My My My My My My My My... They all know the rest. Yasss. Every bite was like a dance routine on my tongue. I bought the Pecan spreader bread pudding, salted caramel chocolate cake, Oatmeal cream pies and a white chocolate pulp. So many options to choose and it is hard not to buy anything. Nice place to get small gifts for others or just a treat for yourself. Everything was so delicious. The chocolate cake was very rich. This bread pudding though!!!!!!! If you decide to buy it, you should not put this dessert through the microwave! Pop it in a toaster oven. 400 degrees. 8 minutes. Thank you so much.

These people know their treats, simple and easy. So much so that my partner and I two times on our last trip to bask I'm their glucose fame. All we tried was great, but the cream of the harvest was between the oat flakes, peanut butter cake or the fresh fruit cake. Incredible stuff and a recording for the city's collective sweet tooth.

The best cake in all Richmond! Every year I order a fabulous pumpkin cake for Thanksgiving and it is always so moist and tasty that everyone goes back for seconds. I also buy my husband's favorite, Spotted Cow, as a little extra surprise and it's always on point. Besides amazing cakes, they also have other wonderful desserts such as oat flakes and wonderful cookies. If you spend these calories, you can't go wrong here!
