The acoustics were fantastic, and the band, the Hullabaloo’s, sounded amazing. I had the winter soup and a half sandwich plate. The soup was a delightful mix of butternut squash and pumpkin puree, with a hint of spice and bourbon, topped with croutons and pumpkin seeds. The sandwich, made with turkey, brie cheese, spinach, and cranberries, was grilled to perfection. Both dishes were excellent. Our waitress, who also tended bar, enhanced our experience with her cheerful attitude — she was genuinely happy to be there, always smiling, polite, and attentive.
This is my second visit to this restaurant, and today I came to support my friend during a difficult time. The staff here is incredibly friendly, and I really appreciate the mission of the place to train individuals with disabilities. The food is also excellent. I ordered the fried green tomatoes and the vegan chipotle butternut squash soup. At our table, we also tried the two appetizers: the vegan maple-glazed roasted Brussels sprouts. Everything was delightful!
