Portico Restaurant - Richmond

The second time here. experience was exceptional, eating was great and service (michele) was even better.

We had a phenomenal meal there for 18th wedding anniversary! The service and food was fantastic! We will definitely be going again!

Great food and service. Their Old Fashion's are to die for excellent.

Really great place to eat. I just wish the tables were a little bigger to accommodate appetizers for sharing.

I was somewhat disappointed in this trip to Portico. What normally is a wonderful experience was a let down. It was cold out and while I made a reservation in the heated tented section, a made it under the assumption that our table would be kept comfortably warm. The table where we were sat was at the edge of the tent and the heaters around the table weren't on so the table and chairs (which are metal) were cold. Throughout dinner the heaters kept turning off and needing to be turned back on. But what was most disappointing was the service. Our server seemed irritable and unhappy to be there. I understand people have hard days at work and maybe this was one of those situations, but I would expect better at a restaurant like Portico.
