Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Richmond

Fast food in Richmond tends to be slower, and this restaurant is no exception when it comes to service. However, the chicken here is distinctive and delicious. I've sampled spicy chicken sandwiches from various places, and this one consistently stands out as the best. I do miss the dirty rice, which has been removed from the menu. The biscuits are excellent, though! I'll definitely go for the red beans and rice.

I had a lovely visit to the restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive, doing a great job. The chicken was delicious, and the mashed potatoes with gravy were just as tasty. I can’t wait to try the mac and cheese on my next visit. I’m absolutely hooked on the frozen strawberry lemonade—I just can't get enough! The establishment was also very clean.

You really can’t go wrong with Popeyes! We dined inside the restaurant, and it was very clean. The line moved quickly, and there’s a fountain drink machine in the lobby. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic!

The manager confronted me about an extra cup from my order placed the night before graduation. I repeatedly told her that I hadn't taken anything, and that the employee had given me the cup. Despite this, she approached me with negative intentions. It was a woman who closed the night before, and when I asked for her name, she refused to provide it, saying she would remember me instead. To make matters worse, my entire order was incorrect. They closed at 10:30 but continued to take customers' money without informing anyone they were out of certain items or offering alternatives from what was left. This experience was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful.

I visited the restaurant to place my order, and I found that the food wasn't particularly fresh. However, I want to commend the two employees at the front counter and those packing the food; they did an excellent job. I was there at 2 PM on August 12, 2022.
