Milestones Grill Bar Richmond Hill

We had a reservation at 5:30, and showed up at 5pm. We were seated early as the restaurant was very quiet. 20 minutes went by and we still did not have a waiter. My wife went up to the hostess and informed her. The hostess stated that the waiter probably did not know he had an additional table to serve, but apologized. The manager (forgot his name)came and took our order. We ordered the chicken bites, 2x steak sandwiches (1 salad, and 1 Sweet potato fries). both of the orders came with salads, so i told the manager this was a mistake. He apologized and brought our the fries. The manager was the only pleasant thing about our experience, as he gave us a discount because the fries came late. It was upsetting as we come to this location all the time, and have never had an issue. It was shocking since the dinning room was quiet, maybe only 5 other tables had people seated. We even noticed a couple that showed up after us, received their entire order before we even got our water (that's how long we had waited before being served).

Milestone is the first restaurant I have been after Covid. We went there and set in patio. Their good menu with the quality food is the unique point. They have very nice patio. Their stuff are very kind and helpful. My only concern is their desert menu which needs to be updated and added new things with the better taste. Overall I am happy with Milestones and I recommend.

The food was delicious and the service was very quick and speedy. Our waitress Kayla was exceptional and very friendly. It is very clear that she is passionate about her job and professional. Kayla greeted us with a warm smile all evening. She always ensured our glasses were filled, and made sure we were always taken care of!

The food was great but the service we got was incredible we were sat in Kayla’s section and she was nothing but amazing to us she was extremely nice, sweet and kind to us, when we needed more time on the menu she gave us her recommendations and gladly gave us a few more minutes, the food came quickly and all at once she would constantly check up on us and ensuring that we didn’t need anything else and when we did she brought it to the table as fast as she could. We could see that she was constantly moving and keeping up with all of her tables in her section and even helping out other servers in there sections. All in all she is a fantastic server made us feel at home and we will definitely be asking to be out in her section next time.

Had a lovely dinner with my mom. We enjoyed the spring mix salad with grilled shrimp. It was exactly what we wanted and very tasty. I just felt that 4 grilled shrimp for $11.00 was overpriced.
