Fuel Pump - Richmond

Finally, popped in after walking past this place a gajillion times. WHY LORD did I wait so long is all I can wonder. Everything here is supremely delicious, nothing disappoints. The espresso tonic with ginger beer and lime was so refreshing on a hot summer day in RVA and the pastries are perfectly flaky, buttery, even to the most discerning taste. Hands down one of my favorite places in RVA.

Stopped in to get a coffee, staff was very friendly, they were able to customize my drink, and non-dairy milk options were also available.

Incredibly knowledgeable staff. The coffee is a bit exotic for my tastes, but the espresso drinks are perfectly crafted.

It's very expensive. First I did not see any prices posted. I ended up ordering a dirty chai latte. Second my dirty chai latte was priced at 12.00 USD. And no it was not a big gulp. They'd already started making it so I couldn't cancel the order. My chai was good however I will not be coming back to Fuel Pump strictly on the pricing. A 12.00 chai latte...in this economy? In Richmond?
