Casa Del Barco Canal Walk - Richmond

Had a couples photo shoot with my husband for our 26th anniversary. Afterwards we decided to stop in to Casa Del Barco for dinner . We were seated without a wait which was surprising but great for a Friday evening . We had a wonderful waiter Shawn , he was very attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure things were good. After our dinner (which was delicious! Shawn brought us a dessert to help us celebrate our anniversary . A must try place of your ever in Richmond .

Service was extremely slow and food was okay. Chicken did not seem to be fresh and the tacos were served cold inspite of serving after 45 minutes of wait. Food was delayed inspite of restaurant not being full.

The food is okay at best but the service is super slow even when the restaurant is daily empty. Chicken tacos were cold and dry, rice was a bit hard.

Michelle was fantastic and she made our visit so much more fun!

Michelle was outstanding with food suggestions and going out of her way to accommodate a couple special requests. Would definitely recommend eating here. Very authentic and drinks are delicious.
