During this visit we started with beets, fennel and walnut salad with goat cheese and then moved to rabbits for me and cattle medallions for my husband. The rabbit was perfectly prepared on a bed of root veggies, olives and sparrow, well suited for the meat. My husband said the beef was boiled to a perfect medium and the sauce was a creamy peppermint creation. For dessert we chose the elder cream brulee, a great end for a fine meal! The cook just changed to his fall menu so the online list does not show the current options, but all we ever had in Bistro Bobette was delicious.
Quiet restaurant with a quiet atmosphere and delicious food! Lunch here is cheap and has many different options. I tried the hot croque and was amazed how delicious it was. It was served with frits and a curry ketchup (what was also. Every night they also seem to have different specials (how to bring your own wine so that they also seem to check!
You can't go wrong with Bistro Bobette. That reminds me of my favorite restaurant in SF. Waiting They are highly trained in the kitchen and drinks. Great with couple drinks with your meal.
A top place for high quality French food. I should have taken a picture of food, but it was too good to interrupt. The service here is great. Feels like a café in Chicago I loved.

Wife loved the skate wing, something new for her. I had the rib eye, smothered in mushroom sauce (oh, those French! . The steak was tender as anticipated, sauce a great accompaniment. Too few pommes fritz were quite tasty. Sandy was efficient knowledgeable, her recommendations were spot on. We enjoyed this restaurant not typically garish French....
