The Bishop Blaize - Richmond

The food was of excellent quality and the portions were generous. The lady serving us was alone but couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. It was definitely a visit worth making.

Great food and service. we came as a party of 11, the renter said there was only one cook, so we thought we had to wait a long time. but unfortunately it was super fast. worth a visit!

The Bishop Blaize is a lovely local pub with a very traditional bar and lounge area. It then has a dining area at the rear which is very different. My wife and I had a good, reasonably priced meal at 6.15 p.m. even though they normally stop serving at 5.00pm. They had served later as several people had asked for food...a very accommodating, flexible way of operating. I would also mention that they have a beer garden at the back with a great back drop of Richmond Castle keep. We enjoyed their hospitality.
