Super-enjoyable dinner here for a birthday celebrationI made reservations about an hour in advance, and they took me on the spot.

We had a pretty good experience here but just did not knock my socks off The food was very good and I particularly liked our server.

Located in a beautiful old church this place is fine dining certified.

There is a so called Dumpling Trail in the City of Richmond, south of Vancouver, and Chen's serves one of the best Northern Chinese dumplings (e.g., xiaolongbao/XLB) along the Dumpling Trail. The only drawback is cash-only at Chen's, but it does keep the price quite cheap for a good dumpling and noodles lunch.

This is off the strip mall The parking stalls are all full in front and we have to drive around the building to park at the backThe XLB was good,but not enough filling insideWe also have the chicken soup which was good which fresh chicken flavorThe pot stickers could be more firmer and burnt a bit more would taste much betterFor dessert we had the peanut sesame round dumplings which were goodWe notice they have a luncheon special which started at 1130 am till 530 pm and cost 9.95We will come back to try it out
