Only wanting a light lunch I opted for the beef tendon and noodle soup and the best part was that it cost me under $9.00. I can recall the days when beef tendon was an undesirable choice, now days it's become a specialty especially when combined with beef brisket.
Been there twice, first time served me undercooked dumplings. Second time i went, which is today.... tried ordered dumplings again and was informed that their steaming machine is broken and likely not be repaired shortly... meaning half of the item on their menu could not be ordered. Ended up ordering a lamp noodle soap, which tasted awful. Overall, very disappointed. will not return
I've often passed by the Beijing Noodle House but for one reason or another simply wasn't inspired to sample their fare, that is until a friend insisted that I give them a try. Because it is common for Chinese establishments in Richmond to close for a portion of the day I phoned ahead. A very pleasant young female mentioned that the business closes daily from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and phoned back to say the the cafe closes on Thursdays. My experience is that the food is very tasty, arrived piping hot in a timely manner and the wait staff very friendly and helpful without being intrusive.
Probably one of the best mexican food i tried before!!! Im probably fullI before our main arrives as they give free nachos before we even order.
