Vij's Railway Express - Richmond

Any of Vij's food outlets are worth going to. This is a family who takes great pride and hard work to make sure their products are first class and you never feel rushed in them (squeezed in maybe, but not rushed).

Did not disappoint! The butter chicken schnitzel curry with naan rocked! One can tell why there is a line outside the food truck and for reservations at the restaurant. When in Vancouver, find this food truck and enjoy some excellent food!

This mobile food truck is wonderful in that you can get Vij's snacks and takeaways in handy to go experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Chai is particularly tasty. BUT for the original, you still have to go to the Cambie or West 10th Rangoli. Get ready for lineups, but you won't be disappointed...Good luck and enjoy!

I just stopped by yesterday and tried the schnitzel butter chicken dish and Chai. My god it was the best butter chicken I had. And please definitely try their chai...it comes with pistachios and cumin...lovely

A colleague of mine said you must try this place if you go to Vancouver. Well, he was right! It was awesomely good. I missed them twice at the conference I was attending. So then I had to find them before I left. It was worth the hunt. It is amazing what the internet allows you to do. They provide the truck's location daily. The service was good and the food was yummy and satisfying. It was lushious and comforting. It was also savory, filling, yet light. They even had one of my favorite, Orange Fanta. We stood in the rain for this dish and boy was I gad I did. See the restaurant or food truck if you are in town.
