Tugboat Annie's Pub - Richmond

The waitress was pleasant and prompt. We shared 5 appys, they arrived together and all hot and tasty

Food was poor quality. Only a few pieces of chicken in the wrap, and very flavourless. My hubby had the stir-fry, which was bland. Waitress never checked back on us to see how our food was until we were done. When we received the bill I realized I was up charged for soup when the menu stated it came with fries, soup or salad. When I asked the waitress about the charge she argued that the menu didn't say that it came with soup. Then she checked, and when she realized she was wrong told us that the seafood chowder was an up charge type of soup anyways. I had asked her prior to ordering what type of soup they had and she said seafood chowder and that she "forgot" the other types. No mention that the only soup she could remember was also $3 more... Won't ever come back.

Met a friend for dinner. Nothing special here. Not even much choice of beer for a pub. The food was ok. Poutine not that good.

This restaurant is a real hidden gem. I didn't even know it was here until now and I'm happy I discovered it. The chowder is delicious!

Excellent food prices. Prime Rib Friday night was amazing. We'll be back.
