Haven't been here in a number of years. Still a very solid choice for quick Cantonese style dishes. Their menu continues to have a lot of variety. Food came out quickly and was of good quality. Can't really beat this place if you're looking for a 24hr Chinese restaurant.
No.9 used to be our restaurant to go when we were before vancouver. new visit was a total disappointment. we ordered a few signiture hongkong dishes. the nudel was saturated with strong soda odor. the bark meat organs were boiled and not taste clean as it should be in hongkong. the cold plate was not fresh and over price. the tang jai congee missed bark meat and fried noodle after the authentic recipe. cash was just a kind of tradition for Chinese restaurants here, definitiw outdated!
They are being pampered for decisions! they have easily more than 100 dishes for choice. the noodle dish was delicious, although I wish the noodle could be a little more spring-lighter. the star here is the brattaube. it was so tasteful and the spicy were really deep in the flesh. the price was high, but expected for a 24h restaurant.
Great experience with a last minute and late flight order. eating was delicious and affordable. love how they are open around the clock. this is said, there is obviously a small trade with the quality of food and customer service, but it was minimal. this must be understood when a place over 800 different food literally dumps 24 hours a day. our eating was hot and not too oily and had generous portions. would recommend.
