Mr. Bro Korean Bistro Izakaya

I want to give a shoutout to the waitress who checked on my table frequently. I highly recommend trying the seafood pancake, which is made with panko for a deliciously crispy texture. I would suggest passing on the barley dishes as they were just okay. Instead, I recommend trying their appetizers or late-night snack-style dishes, as they seem to be their specialty. Their hot sauce is a bit too spicy for my taste, but I enjoyed adding it to my Dolsot-Bibimbap. They don't serve side dishes, but I was pleasantly surprised to receive a yogurt at the end of the meal as a supplement. Overall, I was happy with the meal and would recommend it.

Everything was fine. I tried the grilled black cod, seafood pancake, and creamed corn with cheese. The seafood pancake was the standout, with a delicious sauce. The creamed corn with cheese was decent. However, I did not enjoy the grilled black cod. It looked overcooked and had tough, brown fins and bones that were difficult to eat. I would not order it again.

Food was delicious here with exception of one dish!! There’s a bit of a wait to get in as they don’t do reservations.We ordered glass noodles, spicy chicken, black bean rice cake (this one sucked), and the grilled beef full order.The prices here are a little on the higher side for the amount of food they give.The black bean rice cake came with the rice cake still hard to chew and the sauce was still congealed. Really sucked because everything else was very tasty.Will definitely come back to try other menu items.

Came to this place based on google reviews. It certainly did not disappoint. Food was delicious with lots flavours. It is a perfect place to come with friends so you can order more food items to share. Too bad the restaurant isn't so big to accommodate more people. The waiting line could be a bit long during dinner hour. That said, go early if you can. Will definitely go back again.

After trying other Korean restaurants on Alexandra Road, I visited Herrn Bro. I was surprised by the high ratings it received. Many customers were dining with their mothers during lunch, as the restaurant was quite busy. The service was quick, but there was a slight wait before our order was taken. The food arrived promptly, but unfortunately, the dishes were not very flavorful. The Japchae was supposed to be sweet and hearty, but the marinade seemed unevenly mixed, resulting in some noodles being darker than others. The noodles were clumping together, making it difficult to eat. The Bibimbap was bland and mostly consisted of rice. I was disappointed by this dish, as I had enjoyed better Bibimbap at other restaurants. The stone pot was not hot enough to create crispy rice, but instead, it was chewy.
