Przekaż informację zwrotnąI went in looking for an authentic set of noodles, and got it. The dining area is small, and decor is not their number one concern, but the food is good, hot an fast. Thin. slightly chewy, noodles with a slightly sweet broth ( Hong Kong style)The service was a bit abrupt, but I had a great bowl of soup and pork/taro sprig rolls for under $15.00. I am OK with the trade-off.One note - this is a cashonly place - no cards accepted.
It wasn't a plesant experience when we had lunch at the restaurant. We ordered 5 bowls of wonton noodles. When the waitress came to our table, we tried to helo her to distribute the bowls to our friends but she said in a rude manner "don't move!". We ordered more food, our bill finally cost about $120. After we have paid the bill she came to us and gave us this rude comment in front of all customers. First, she said we didn't pay her enough tips (gst and pst is already included in the bill). Second, she said with $120 bill we should pay her more tips ( didn't mention in the bill how much of the percentage we have to pay). I personally think paying gratuities is depending on the service. The way she sounded to us was absoulately rude and no manner. We are suppose to be there to enjoy our food and spend time with our fiends. But then, she made us feeling so uncomfortable and not welcome. There arw many restaurants in vancouver that could provide good service. I would not suggest any customers to go to this restaurant because they are so rude. They value their customers as DIRT. I felt like I am being treated as if I am not always good enough to eat there. Don't spend your money here!
I have been visiting this noodle place every time I am in Vancouver. Their Wonton noodle is still very good. Noodle is thin and of the right texture. They also have other Cantonese small dishes (tapas?) that are worth sampling if you are adventurous enough (for non-Chinese). Price is reasonable.
The small restaurant is clean and the foods are delicious although some noodle soups can be a little bit salty. The styles and flavors are close to those similar restaurants in Hong Kong.
This is a restaurant I has been visit for the past 20 years. Quality of food is always excellent. The best wonton. The best noodle. The best beef brisket. May be better than Hong Kong
