We ate here because of the TA reviews but what a disappointment! The shrimp fried rice was a giant portion of rice but not much shrimp or anything else; very bland and not fried enough. The shrimp fried rice with diced chicken was totally different: bathing in a sauce with added celery but the chicken was clearly stale/old. Same goes with the Singapore fried rice vermicelli: loads of curried vermicelli but few slivers of chicken, which again was old and stale-tasting. The rice noodle soup with BBQ pork was bland but loaded with noodles and no vegetables at all. For just under $13 per dish, these are filling meals of carbs but nothing else. Cash only. Very busy business with the Chinese clientele. Free parking in parkade but tight. Food court is spacious but you will hunt for seating during meal times.
They still the best H.K street food in the food court , from congee , rice , noodles , to chicken wing , lot of choices , the best Beef internal noodle 100 H.K style ,also the curry Fish Ball , the deep fried Chicken wings very crispy and juicy , price range very affordable , quality is okay , not much MSG , you do not get the dry mouth feeling , service fast and friendly . foods come out in a timely manner no complaint at all . not a bad place for snake !
This is a convenient place to dine for a quick bite of Chinese food when you arrive from YVR (Vancouver International airport). Just 10 minutes away from the airport by Canada Line (the train). This is one of my favourite eateries. This fast food place located in Aberdeen Center food court has a vast menu of Chinese dishes. One of my favourites is the chicken chow mien with black bean sauce top with the Chinses milk tea (brew black tea with evaporated milk). Is delish and a good size portion. Most of the eateries at the Chinese food court is Cash only
Video review on youtube: vancity food crew leung kee cantonese food . I tried a dish from this place, the stir fried noodles with beef. It consists of beef, beansprouts, green onion and noodles. The portion is very large but the flavour is lacking. It needs cabbage or carrots for crunch and more flavour. I would go back to try other stuff, I hear their soya chicken or their fried rice is good.
