John3:16 Malaysian Delights - Richmond

This is best Malaysian food we've found in the Lower MainlandI lived in Singapore for three years and my husband is a born and raised Singaporean.

Good service_good food/ however, I loved the one they had in Richmond, I think the quality went down for sure, but it's good still for this area_price

I was in the area and decided to stop by here for a late lunch thanks to the Yelp reviews.

We stopped by for dinner. The restaurant was small(seating for about 20 people) so we were curious about this.However, we were all happy with their service and taste.We had Hainan Chicken hat was very soft and tasty, Roti with Curry was awesome, and Lamb Curry and beef satay were well done!and they taste very natural and did not taste any MSG.This restaurant is hidden gem.We sure go back again!

Reasonably priced. Big portions. Some hits and some mild misses. Char Kuay Teow is a hit. Nasi Lemak also excellent although there could be a little more sambal with the dish. Roti Canai could be fluffier and the curry kuah is a bit too watery. Dishes are also on the salty side but the chef will tone it down if asked. Otherwise a fine new place to try in the ethnic-food desert of North Van
