I explained I have celiac and they said they just run the blenders under hot water. So I asked if they’d be able to clean it beforehand and you’d think it asked to go to the moon. The woman purposefully was misconstruing it and was like you want us to run the dishwasher just for you. No, you’re telling me there’s not a single squirt of soap back there. And she also kept going well if you actually have celiac.. yes I do. I told you I do.
Excellent service, told me how they were going to avoid cross contamination. They had gluten free breads.
They have gluten free bread, and can wrap your sandwich in paper before grilling they use the same grill for all items and did not recommend I eat there if I'm celiac. They did guarantee the shakes as gluten free and contamination free. I got one, it was delicious and filling!
Notified that while they have gluten free bread, most of the sandwich toppings (chicken, avocado, cheese, etc) have significant cross contamination. The food is not safe for celiac, the smoothies don't contain gluten so those are okay.
They made my sandwich on gluten free bread, changed gloves, changed to clean cutting board and utensils, and heated sandwich on parchment paper in the grill. Very accommodating and helpful.
