The atmosphere is always vibrant, making it a bit of a hidden gem, as most customers are locals. I really enjoy the food here—the meat is tender and juicy, the crispy outer layer of the pork fat is delightful, and the inside is packed with flavor from the herbs, creating a wonderful aroma. Overall, I find both the taste and prices to be very reasonable. It's definitely a place worth visiting. This time, I ordered the soy chicken and roast pork, both under $10, and I was impressed by the great value.
Without a doubt, this is the best place for char siu in Vancouver! I recently visited with my boyfriend to try their char siu rice, and it was the best I've had in ages. I will definitely be returning!
The food was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. If we return, we will definitely make a point to visit again. Plus, the service was impressively quick! I also appreciated how well the line was organized.
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing some of the most authentic Chinese BBQ I've had in a long time. The chicken was incredibly juicy and packed with flavor, while the crispy roasted pork was wonderfully crunchy and bursting with taste! I could easily eat it every day! The BBQ duck and pork were cooked to perfection, and I highly recommend trying the fattier cuts of meat. The portions were generous, all served on a bed of rice, and the best part was that everything cost less than $20! This was my favorite dining experience during my two weeks on the West Coast. The owner, Eric, and his son, Anson, were exceptional hosts, ensuring that everyone had a fantastic time. Honestly, you won't find better Chinese BBQ in the Vancouver area—this place deserves 6 stars!
This restaurant is conveniently located beneath a shopping center parking lot, offering plenty of parking spaces. Please note that it only accepts cash. The dining area is small yet inviting, with a designated section for takeout orders. We tried the soy sauce chicken, along with a combination of roasted duck and char siu. The soy sauce chicken was the highlight for us, featuring a silky, smooth, and tender texture. However, we found the char siu had a bit more fat than we preferred, and we were slightly disappointed by the amount of meat on the roasted duck, which was less than we expected. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience.
