Golden Paramount Seafood - Richmond

This is a pretty good restaurant in our BC visit. They have many good dishes, live/fresh shrimps, and fish. They have received quite a few rewards. Not cheap though. Free

A hidden gem tucked away in an older building. We pass by this building all the time and never noticed it until a family member booked it for a gathering. Portions are a bit small but prices are reasonable compared to the fancier restaurants. They didn’t have everything on the set menu and had to substitute a several dishes. Overall, it was pretty good. The place is quite small but they do have several private rooms if you have a bigger group.

Overall, pretty similar to other seafood restaurants in Richmond in terms of price, service and setting. If you do go for dimsum though, I would highly recommend the egg tofu with broccoli dish and the scallop dumplings with truffle as I felt like those dishes stood out in taste and quality. Their Har Gow is a bit smaller but they do give 5 pieces instead of 3-4 like other places that have bigger ones.Parking: Entrance to the parkade is easy to miss. Goes up a ramp to a reserved section. Then the restaurant can be accessed through elevator/stairs down to a main lobby.

Was in the area and was looking for a New Years Day lunch. Happy I found it. Great menu, great flavours. Deep fried tentacles were the best!! Delicious dim sum and a good price.I see many posts about rude service.. they’re busy and the food is awesome. I don’t need to be their friend.
